Pacific Series IX

I just thought I would update you all on PS IX. The track voting ends very soon so if you haven't voted for the tracks you would like to run then do it soon. Also, magnaboy has restricted the RWD option for the cars. So, no RWD will be allowed and you must have the Forza front and rear bumpers and Forza rear wing on your car. The rest is up to each participant. The track list should be up by Monday keeping in mind that Nurburgring and New York are staples of the series so don't vote for them. New York is the finishing track and the green hell is most likely the fourth race in the series. Kinda gives you something to look forward to doesn't it? Glad to have you all onboard and I for one am looking forward to a very competitive series.

The website is: www.sabrclub.com and look in the Leagues and Events Forum. The voting for tracks is over now though. Sorry. The rules for this particular season haven't been posted yet but if you go here: http://www.trynsave.net/sabr/viewtopic.php?t=496 you'll get a good idea of how things go. Keep in mind those were the regs for PS VIII so a couple things may change for PS IX.

As you all may know the car list has been posted for the series. The track list has now been posted as well. Maple Valley Long, as the top vote getter, will be the first race of the series. The start date/rules etc will be posted soon. I know that in the testing that I have done with people, the cars seem pretty equal so consistancy will be paramount. One bad off or any slight damage to your car albeit engine or body that will slow you down even a little will most likely cost you the race. So while your testing/racing for the next week or so, it may be a good idea to get used to driving with full simulation on if your not already.

As you may know the rules were posted at the beginning of the week and the room assignments were posted this afternoon. Please check as to which room you are in so the race can start on time tomorrow. Thanks and good luck.

SABR Hightower has sent me a msg telling me he can't make the Saturday race but will make it for Tuesday. SABR westeee and the F4H team will also race on Tuesday as far as I know. If I have forgotten anyone please let me know so I can put you in a room. I'm really tired so it wouldn't surprise me if I did. Thanks
